Angry player violently throws his stick at referee
The game of hockey can cause tempers to flare. Unfortunately sometimes those tempers boil over and cause players to cross the line. Usually though those tempers flare with other players and not referees.
Unfortunately that's exactly what happened with this player. After a bad call the player allows his temper to get the best of him and he violently throws his stick at the referee.
There is no additional information available at this time about what punishment he received but it's definitely a lengthy one.
