Braden Schneider destroys Jesper Boqvist and then beats up Yegor Sharangovich
Braden Schneider is only 20-years-old, but he's already built like a brick wall. At 6'2 and already north of 200 lbs. he is an imposing physical presence. Tonight Jesper Boqvist learned just how physical the towering rookie can be.
As Boqvist carried the puck up the ice, Schneider saw an opportunity to step up and he took that chance. Schneider caught Boqvist with a clean body check that drew the attention of Yegor Sharangovich.
Unfortunately for Sharangovich, he was clearly out matched as he was handed a clear loss in the fight. On the play Sharangovich received a 2-minute minor for instigating, 5-minutes for fighting and a 10-minute misconduct for instigating. Schneider received a 5-minute major for fighting.
