Breaking News - Josh Manson has agreed to his next contract
Josh Manson was acquired by the Colorado Avalanche at the NHL Trade Deadline. Manson went on to be an integral part of the Avalanche's run to the Stanley Cup. Many expected Manson to return to Anaheim, where he'd be named the new Captain after Ryan Getzlaf officially retired.
But today Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet confirmed that Manson and the Avalanche had come to terms on an agreement for Manson to remain in Colorado.
Hearing Josh Manson will stay in COL
The deal likely came together as it became clear that Nazem Kadri would not be returning to the Colorado Avalanche. Manson added 8 points in 20 post season games for the Avalanche.
