Breaking News - San Jose Sharks and Colorado Avalanche make a 4 player trade
The NHL Trade Deadline is over a month away, but that didn't stop the Colorado Avalanche from trying to get a jump on things. Tonight the Avalanche came together with the San Jose Sharks in agreement to complete a 4 player deal.
The #SJSharks have acquired Jacob MacDonald and Martin Kaut from Colorado in exchange for Matt Nieto and Ryan Merkley. This deal will give Ryan Merkley the fresh start he has so desperately sought after. The deal will hopefully give the Avalanche the push they need to try and bridge the gap before the team gets healthy. Currently the Avalanche sit outside of a playoff position and need to right the ship before they find themselves missing the playoffs entirely.
