Breaking News - Vegas Golden Knights make major announcement about Nic Hague's contract
The Vegas Golden Knights and Nic Hague had reached an impasse in their contract negotiations. Hague refused to report to camp without a new deal and Vegas has reportedly refused to negotiate further. Now it appears this saga has reached a conclusion.
According to Elliotte Friedman the two parties have finally reached an agreement on a new deal that sees Hague end his holdout.
Hearing LV and Nic Hague closing in. 3 years, approx $2.3M.
The deal sees Hague remain in Vegas for the following 3-years but will likely require Vegas to make a roster move to get under the Tuesday noon deadline for cap compliance.
Hague is expected to play a much bigger role in the Vegas defense this year, as the team looks for value out of all their contracts.
