Canadian team beginning to aggressively pursue Nazem Kadri
Adrian Dater of The Athletic broke the news that Nazem Kadri had circled back and spoken to the Colorado Avalanche. He reported that the likely hood of Kadri re-signing had increased within the last day. But earlier this evening Dater sent out a Tweet that updated that a Canadian team had entered the conversation for Kadri.
Calgary going hard on Kadri now.
This was a surprise to some as Kadri had previously declined a trade to the Calgary Flames when he was a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs. But with Calgary losing Johnny Gaudreau they could be willing to put fourth a financial offer that Kadri is incapable of turning down.
If Kadri chose to join the Flames he'd likely immediately form a very difficult line to play against with Matthew Tkachuk.
