On Sunday, the Colorado Avalanche hosted a team dinner where they awarded the members of the organization from last year's Stanley Cup winning team. Lord Stanley was in the house, along with some new jewellery for the players.
It's a very special moment for everyone involved. Stanley Cup rings cost between $20,000 to $25,000 each. No word yet on how much the Avalanche's latest ring costs but by the looks of it, it's definitely not cheap.
Inside each ring is the Avalanche's team motto «Find A Way». It also has each of the series final scores and who they beat.
The Avalanche will raise their 2022 Stanley Cup banner on October 12th when they face the Chicago Blackhawks. That should be a good tune up game for the defending champions.
