During Thursday's championship parade, there was a little mix up and one of the police officers thought Avalanche defensemen Bowen Byram was a fan trying to get in on the action. To be fair Byram is only 21 years-old and looks like most hockey fans do.
There was no harm and everything was cleared up pretty quickly. Afterwards, the Denver police explained what happened in hockey terms.
I fully expected them to say «it appeared as if there were too many men out there» but this is just as good. Great to see everyone taking the incident in stride.
