Drunk Kurtis MacDermid falls hard while holding the Cup
Yesterday the Colorado Avalanche had their moment in the sun, with the Stanley Cup Parade. A large portion of the city came out to celebrate the newly crowned champions. The celebration starter pretty early in the day for many members of the Avalanche and continued well into the night.
For at least one member of the Avalanche, Kurtis MacDermid, he found his limit. While attending the post parade party a very excited MacDermid tries to hoist the Cup over his head. Unfortunately the amount of alcohol consumed and the 35 lbs. trophy worked heavily against him.
The Cup has already taken a beating and will likely have a few more dings and dents in it by the time it's returned to it's keepers layer this summer.
