The Edmonton Oilers started the season out fairly strong, but lacklustre goaltending and sub par defence have finally started to surface, making the Oilers come down to earth recently.

According to one media member, if falls solely on this one player. Mark Spector of Sportsnet everyone.

No way Spector is placing all the blame on Puljujari for the Oilers problems so far this year, yet he has the balls to say it's only the fans who run players out of town. Spec is such a loser man. He blocks everyone who has a different opinion than him.

We used to blame this solely on former goalie Mikko Koskinen. Turns out, there's more to it. The Oilers have allowed 30 goals in the opening 10 minutes of the game since the start of last season. That's Jesse Puljujarvi's fault. Glen Sather once said, « a fire hydrant could score 40 goals playing with Wayne Gretzky». Well, Jesse Puljujarvi has spent seven games on Connor McDavid's right wing this season, and he has one lousy assist on an empty net goal

Listen, I know when teams are struggling it's easy to blame one person and one person only, however, with that being said, in a team game, how is every goal scored in the first 10 minutes of a game a single players fault?

I'm no Jesse Puljujarvi defender, by all accounts he hasn't lived up to the hype or exceptions, but it's completely outlandish to suggest that he's solely responsible when their defence and goaltending have been atrocious throughout the early part of the season.
