Evander Kane ejected for trying to gouge Alex Edler's eyes in a scrum
The Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings went to battle in Game 4 of their Western Conference Quarter Finals match up last night. Unfortunately for the Oilers the game didn't go how they'd hoped, with the Kings winning the game 4-0. This victory turned this series into a Best of 3 as the series heads back to Edmonton.
One narrative that might carry over from Game 4 was a late game incident that occurred between Evander Kane and Alex Edler. As the two were being separated by the linesmen Kane dropped his glove and threw a punch over the pile. After the punch landed though Kane attempted to grab at the face and eyes of Edler.
Both men were given misconducts on the play which ended their nights. Game 5 will be held Tuesday night in Edmonton.
