Evander Kane threatens Nazem Kadri less than a minute into tonight's game
The last time Evander Kane and Nazem Kadri faced one and other it was during the Western Conference Finals. Unfortunately for Kadri during that game, a cross check from came sent him crashing into the boards breaking his thumb. The hit forced Kadri to undergo surgery.
Tonight during the Battle of Alberta is the first time the two have faced off since that eventful night. Many wondered how the two would react and less then a minute into the game we got an answer. After a physical shift the two came together after a whistle.
Rather than exchanging pleasantries Kane had a simple threat to offer Kadri.
I'll break your hand again.
It's clear that tempers are elevated between the two teams and it seems like only a matter of time before things pickup even further.
