Fans upset after Carson Soucy absolutely destroys Seth Jarvis
Last night the Carolina Hurricanes faced off against the Seattle Kraken. The Hurricanes went onto win the game 5-1, but Seth Jarvis will likely be remembering this game for a different reason. That reason? Carson Soucy.
After Jarvis passes the puck off to a teammate he gets caught admiring his pass, completely forgetting about Soucy. Soucy immediately sees his chance and steps up on Jarvis with a huge hit.
The Hurricanes broadcast along with many fans felt like this was clearly an illegal check to the head and a late hit. Jarvis already has a concussion history so plays like this are definitely concerning. But this hit looks like a good old fashioned hockey hit, where the player involved just got caught with his head down.
