Former NFL rushing champion gets slept in exhibition boxing match
Adrian Peterson and Le'Veon Bell were at one time considered two of the best running backs in the NFL. Now retired Peterson, 37, and Bell, 30, turned their attention from dodging tackles to dodging punches. The two took part in an exhibition boxing matchup at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. The fight was part of an event hosted by Social Gloves Entertainment.
The two former NFL stars tried this hands at the sweet science. In the 5th and final round of their fight, Bell caught Peterson with a right hand that ended his night.
Bell went onto celebrate the victory and have his hand raised for the first time during his boxing career.
