Two players go buckets off for an old school tilt
Most professional hockey leagues have opted to ban their players from removing their helmets before a fight. The idea is to protect player's heads should they fall and help them avoid cracking their heads on the ice. But the KHL isn't most hockey leagues.
During a game today Mark Verba and Garet Hunt both decided they had something to settle. Before the fight even began then two men dropped their buckets before engaging.
These two are throwbacks to the old school because not many combatants have the urge to drop their buckets anymore.
