Giavani Smith makes the mistake of dropping the gloves with Milan Lucic
Milan Lucic is a machine and even though he's aged he is still one of the most feared men in the league. During the 3rd period of the Flames versus Giavani Smith made the mistakes of dropping the gloves with Lucic.
Both players received fighting majors on the play. The Flames went on to win the game 3-0, which is a flattering score for the effort the Red Wings put into the first 2 periods. After 2 periods the Red Wings had been limited to only 5 shots on goal and none of those were from closer than 25 feet.
