The defending Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche have had a pretty rough go so far this season, particularly with injuries throughout their lineup. As a result, they've had to use their American Hockey League team more than they would like in order to fill the gaps.
Everyone has been frustrated as a result, but Mikko Rantanen has had enough of the teams disorganized play. Take a look:
During last nights game when the Avalanche took on the New York Rangers, Rantanen can be heard saying where the f*** is everybody' as he crosses into the Rangers zone.
This likely didn't mean a whole lot, as he appears to just be frustrated in the moment, but whenever a star player is visibly upset on the ice, especially when it's picked up on a microphone, people tend to take notice.
It's been a tough go recently around the National Hockey League when it comes to teams feeling the effects of injuries and the frustration is palpable.
Hopefully for the sake of Rantanen's sanity, things to turn around for the Av's soon.
The Rangers would go on to win the game 2-1 in a shootout with Rantanen scoring the only Colorado goal.
