John Klingberg has had enough of free agency makes big decision about his career
John Klingberg was billed as the the single best defenseman on the free agent market. So much to everyone's surprise Klingberg remains unsigned as of today. The delay in the free agent market has frustrated both fans and teams alike.
It turns out that John Klingberg is just as frustrated with the lack of traction in the market for his services. Today Klingberg announced that he'd fired his current agent.
I'm told free agent defenseman John Klingberg has parted ways with longtime agent Peter Wallen.
Klingberg is now being represented by Newport Sports Management.
Newport Sports also represents the following players:
Rasmus Dahlin, Anthony Cirelli, Phillip Danault, Matt Dumba, Kevin Fiala, Tomas Hertl ), Bo Horvat, Erik Karlsson, Travis Konecny, Brad Marchand, Jacob Markstrom, Josh Norris, Ryan O'Reilly, Alex Pietrangelo, Steven Stamkos, Brady Tkachuk, Matthew Tkachuk, Tom Wilson and many more With this move Klingberg and his camp will look to get a move done sooner rather than later.
