John Tavares walks Travis Sanheim and scores the best goal of his career
The Toronto Maple Leafs have struggled to start the season, but one player who hasn't struggled is John Tavares. Tavares has come out of the gate firing, showing that he's still a top center in the NHL. Heading into tonight's game Tavares has 4 goals and 6 assists in 10 games.
Tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers Tavares took his production to another level. Through two periods Tavares had a goal and an assist, but in the 3rd period he absolutely took over scoring what is easily the best goal of his career.
On the play Tavares absolutely walks Travis Sanheim before ticking home his second of the night. Tavares went on to add another goal later in the period to give himself a the hat trick and a four point night.
