Nazem Kadri signed a seven-year, $49 million contract with the Calgary Flames this off-season. Per NHL Insider Chris Johnston, Kadri will be donating $1 million to a better cause.
Nazem Kadri is making a $1-million donation in support of the Ambulatory Surgical Centre at London Health Sciences Centre. It will now be know as the Nazem Kadri Surgical Centre.
This is extremely generous of Kadri and just goes to show you that players no matter how much money they make, or their status in the NHL, never forget where they came from.
