Marc-Andre Fleury has been a Vezina Trophy winner, 3-time Stanley Cup winner, and Gold Medal winner with Team Canada, and 2-time Silver with Canada as a junior as well.

However, at age 37, I think things are changing for Flower, as he has been dealt carelessly by the Vegas Golden Knights to a tanking Chicago Blackhawks for absolutely nothing, a specious cap dump. After Kelly McCrimmon dumped Flower, he fired DeBoer today in a countless list of mistakes he's made as GM so far.

Then to end up on a team that ended up exiting the first round, in the Minnesota Wild, whom he states he'd like to return but that's not the full story.

At age 37 and entering his 19th season, Marc-Andre Fleury said his plan is to «go one year at a time from now on» because «it's not going to last forever.» But he reiterated he plans to test free agency but it would be "very appealing" to return to the Minnesota Wild

I imagine Flower has a year left before he decided to retire, after 19 years in the league and already attaining what he has, it'd be a respectable decision.

Guerin could bring him back but, it'd complicate the Wild's cap structure too. with DeSmith and Jarry in net in Pittsburgh, I don't see a window for him to return either, with Hextall in control.

Fleury left the 2021-2022 playoffs with 5 games played, 3.04 GAA, 2 wins and 3 losses and a .906 SV%
