Matthew Tkachuk lands one of the best reverse hits of the season
During last night's game between the San Jose Sharks and Calgary Flames, Matthew Tkachuk threw a MASSIVE reverse hit that rocked Jonah Gadjovich. On the play Gadjovich was trailing Tkachuk looking to land a hit of his own, but he was caught off guard when Tkachuk braced and delivered a huge hit of his own.
There we no penalties given out on the play and after play came to an end Gadjovich did get into it with Nikita Zadorov.
The reverse hit does pose a lot of questions though, as some believe this play should qualify as interference as a player with the puck is intentionally striking a player without the puck.
