Mitch Marner scores incredible game winning goal
The Toronto Maple Leafs faced off against the New York Rangers Wednesday night in Toronto. After a closely contested game back and forth the game came to an end of regulation with the score tied at 2.
The Maple Leafs were able to secure the puck off of the opening faceoff and that's when Mitch Marner went to work. Marner picked up the puck with an incredible individual effort and streaked into the Rangers zone. He snuck around the outside before scoring an incredible diving goal.
The win lifts the Maple Leafs into second overall in the NHL standings.
