Arber Xhekaj wasn't making friends during yesterday's game against the Ottawa Senators. The Montreal Canadiens prospect already has a reputation for being one of the toughest prospects in the game. But after a few questionable hits Senators prospect Zachary Massicotte stepped up and dropped the gloves with Xhekaj.

Unfortunately for Massicotte that ended with him eating a stiff right hand that sent him to the ice. A very unsurprising result for anyone who'd seen Xhekaj drop the gloves in the past.

But it wasn't the fight that caught media attention after the game, it was comment made by Xhekaj that drew the attention. All throughout the game the Senators players were extremely upset with Xhekaj, and according to him a few of those players crossed the line.

Xhekaj mentions he talked the officials because someone on the Senators was making offensive comments of some kind on the ice, and he "wasn't having that"

Given the direction the NHL has moved it's likely the league will step in and connect with the officials to see if there is anything punishable about the comments made. It will be interesting to see if anything develops from this situation.
