The New York Rangers just can't catch a break as a key member of their team may miss the remainder of the season and his career is in jeopardy due to an injury.
Things have not gone exactly according to plan for New York Rangers forward Filip Chytil this season. He's been out since November 2nd with a concussion and it looks like his season is now over.
According to the New York Rangers and Puck Reporter on X, Chytil will miss the remainder of the season after re-injuring himself during a morning skate just a couple of days ago; take a look.
NEWS: #NYR announce Filip Chytil will miss the remainder of the season following a setback in recovery of a concussion from earlier this year.
Chytil, 24, has skated in just 10 games this year, collecting 6 points, all of which are assists.
At this point one has to wonder if his hockey career as a whole could be in jeopardy, concussions aren't something to mess around with to start, the fact that he has had to leave the Rangers at times to get help this season means it might not be something he can come back from.
