The World Juniors Championship will get underway in less then a week. With the exhibition games going on right now, if this means anything for the upcoming competition, it will be a fast paced and hard hitting one this year.
Brennan Othmann is a first round draft pick, 16th overall for the New York Rangers, is already marking his territory and laying down some big hits. During the Canada versus Switzerland game, he made a Swiss player regret not keeping his head up.
The World Juniors Championship is set to kick off on Boxing Day in Moncton New Brunswick, a return to the traditional start from before the pandemic. It's great to see the physical competition as these young players try to mark themselves among the elite players in the world.
