PK Subban to the Boston Bruins? Some think it's a possibility
The Boston Bruin's General Manager Don Sweeney has been criticized this off-season for some of his moves. Fans were unhappy with the firing of former Head Coach, Bruce Cassidy after the Bruins early playoff elimination at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes.
That decision caused a rift between Sweeney and Bruin's top player, David Pastrnak who was very close with Cassidy. Since then the Sweeney has tried to please Pasta along with the rest of the team by trying to rebuild the team similar to that of the 2019 Bruins Eastern Conference Champions.
Sweeney's first move was re-signing captain Patrice Bergeron and bringing back fan favorite David Krejč� who returned to the NHL after going to play overseas last season.
However, Bruins Hockey Insider Joe Haggerty brought up a interesting suggestion on Twitter:
Should the Boston Bruins bring in experienced D-man Keith Yandle or PK Subban for a training camp tryout as the veterans sit out in the free agent market with just weeks until NHL camps open?
There's no doubt the Bruins will be a competitive this season but adding a PK Subban, or Keith Yandle to the lineup could be a low risk high reward situation.
