Police in Arizona confirm Alex Galchenyuk Facing Charges

Earlier today, the Arizona Coyotes announced that Alex Galchenyuk had been placed on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract. The news caused quite a stir, as Galchenyuk signed on for his third stint with the Coyotes just 12 days ago. Now, we're getting more insight as to what went down.
Police in Scottsdale, Arizona have confirmed that Galchenyuk was arrested four days ago and is facing several charges.
"Scottsdale Police Department has confirmed to The Athletic that Alex Galchenyuk was arrested on July 9 on a number of charges including private property hit and run, disorderly conduct, failure to obey, resisting arrest, Threatening or Intimidating." - Katie Strang
Police did confirm that no one was hurt in the incident, and that Galchenyuk spent a night in jail.
"On the hit and run incident: police said that 'it was only property damage and no injuries.'"
"Jail official said [Galchenyuk} was booked into city jail on Sunday evening and released the following day on his own recognizance. According to court records, Galchenyuk was arraigned on Monday." - Katie Strang
After spending his first six seasons in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens, Galchenyuk has bounced around from team to team, including Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Ottawa, Toronto, and Colorado.
