Shane Wright gets absolutely destroyed by a huge check
Shane Wright is slowly easing his way into the NHL, averaging approximately 8 minutes a night. It appears the Kraken are looking to get their top prospect used to the NHL game. Tonight though Wright learned a very important lesson.
As Wright skates along the side boards, Ivan Barbashev absolutely destroyed Wright. The hit sends Wright hard into the boards.
Kraken teammate Ryan Donato immediately came to Wright's defense. Barbashev received a 2 minute minor for roughing while Donato received a 4 minute double minor. One thing is for certain, Wright will definitely keep his head on a swivel.
