Tkachuk caught on camera delivering the chirp of the year
The Nashville Predators and Calgary Flames faced off in a feisty affair at the Bridgestone Arena. Matthew Tkachuk tied the game up, 4-4, with just 0.1 seconds left in regulation. The Flames got the win thanks to an overtime goal from Elias Lindholm, his 41st of the season.
As the whistle blew on the first period. Matthew Tkachuk was having words with Nashville Predators' rookie Matteiu Oliver. As the referee separated them both, you can see Tkachuk motioning to his stick pretending to sign an autograph for Oliver. It's shithousery in its finest, and fans were just loving it.
A pretty savage chirp from the Superstar Agitator Tkachuk. Oliver was just called up from the AHL Milwaukee Admirals Nashville Predators AHL affiliate yesterday to participate in the game. He has played nine games total this season with 1 assist. In 47 career games in the NHL Oliver has 3 goals and 7 points.
It was an entertaining game with a playoff feel to it. The two teams combined for two fights and 56 penalty minutes. If these two teams meet in the playoffs fans will be treated to a barn burner.
