Troy Terry left a bloody mess after being attacked by Jay Beagle - Possible suspension incoming
During the 3rd period of tonight's Ducks versus Coyotes' game, a scrum broke out that left one member of the Ducks on the ice bloodied. After Trevor Zegras dug for a loose puck, he was cross checked from behind into the net, which drew a crowd. As Terry approached, NHL veteran Jay Beagle grabbed him removed his gloves and absolutely teed off on the unwilling Terry.
Beagle landed multiple shots to Terry, who at no point even removed his gloves for a fight.
Jay Beagle was given 2-minutes for cross checking, 5-minutes for fighting and a game misconduct. Phil Kessel was also given a misconduct on the play.
This incident by Beagle deserves to be looked at by the NHL as it is far from your regular fight.
