Wild retro video of the cast of Sesame Street playing a game against the Chicago Blackhawks
This video was a first for me. I'd never heard of this game before and that's probably because it was well before my time.
But back in 1975 the Chicago Blackhawks faced off against the characters from the television show, Sesame Street. The game was Recorded in the Children's Television Workshop, the team consisted of Big Bird, Grover, Bert, Ernie and Cookie Monster. With Cookie Monster serving as the goaltender.
From the video is appears that Big Bird is a bit of a defensive liability, but I wouldn't be surprised to see an NHL GM give him 6 or 7 years at a ridiculous cap hit.
