The cities of Tempe and Phoenix have been feuding over the new build site for the Arizona Coyotes new arena for some time, today, things escalated even further
According to Tempe Wins and Puck Empire, National Hockey League commissioner Gary Bettman had to change locations of his press conference in Tempe ahead of arena vote due to vandalism, take a look:
The location that NHL commissioner Gary Bettman was supposed to have a press conference at in Tempe, Arizona was vandalized with VOTE NO' in multiple areas
The cites of Tempe and Phoenix have been at a feud over the #Coyotes proposal to build a new arena in Tempe. The city of Phoenix does not want them doing it, and Tempe has fired back with legal action.
Interesting situation.
This has been going on for some time, it seems like everything the Coyotes touch turns bad. Bettman fighting to keep the team in Arizona was already a bad look for the NHL as a whole, now this vandalism that causes the press conference to move to a different location makes it look even worse.
Arizona's president and CEO Xavier A. Gutierrez also addressed the need for the change in locations:

Seriously, at this point the Coyotes are doing more harm than good by staying in Arizona, if this continues to escalate, I would imagine it'll only get worse.
