The Rangers are without a doubt the most disappointing team in the NHL this season.
The team has lost 7 of their last 10 games and has fallen to 6th place in the Metro Division with a 16-16-1 record.
This is a team that was expected to be contenders for the Stanley Cup, but instead they have already started trading off players.
It began earlier this month when they moved Jacob Trouba to the Anaheim Ducks and continued just days ago when Kaapo Kakko was traded to the Seattle Kraken.
Needless to say, Rangers fans are growing increasingly frustrated and concerned about the team, especially management and ownership.
Former Rangers forward Matthew Barnaby recently expressed his concerns with the team, pointing the finger in several directions.
He seems to think that all three of Chris Drury, Peter Laviolette, and owner James Dolan are to blame for the team's miserable season.
Unfortunately for fans like Barnaby, it is not clear when things might change.
It has already been reported that Peter Laviolette's job is safe so we shouldn't expect a change behind the bench.
James Dolan has shown no signs of wanting to sell the team so that just leaves Chris Drury.
Is Dolan considering firing his general manager? Considering how things are going, one must believe he is at least a little bit.
We'll just have to wait and see how it plays out.
