Last night, the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche played game 3 of their first round playoff series and as expected as a series gets deeper, some hatred has developed between the two sides culminating in a wild ending to the game last night wheee everyone one the ice grabbed a partner and started throwing fists. However, this also lead to a very serious injury to a Jets defender.

As the clock wound down on the game, with the Avalanche taking the game by a score of 6-2, a massive fight broke out; take a look.

Chaos ERUPTS at the end of Jets vs Avs Game 3 😱🔥

Jets defender Brenden Dillion who was in the thick of the fighting appeared to have his hand badly cut by a skate at the buzzer while the rest of the players on the ice paired off in the explosive end to the game.

I'm all for fighting in hockey and playoff fights are all the more exciting, but when the Jets are down by 4 goals, this is just silly, especially when Dillion gets injured the way he was.

If you're squeamish you might want to turn away, the cut itself is deep and the amount of blood on the ice is not something you ever want to see.
