Corey Perry gets emotional while discussing Ryan Getzlaf's retirement
Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf spent a significant part of their NHL careers together. The two broke into the league with the Ducks and even one a Stanley Cup together. The two became beat friends both on and off the ice so it's only natural for Perry to receive questions about his teammates retirement.
TSN took the time to speak with Perry and during the conversation Perry gave this very emotional response when talking about his friend.
Perry, who is now a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning is currently chasing another Stanley Cup after trips to the finals in the last two seasons. It will be interesting to see if Perry can get over the hump again and capture that elusive next championship.
