Nik Antropov spent 12 seasons in the NHL, and 2 of them were with the Winnipeg Jets. Antropov and Dustin Byfuglien were considered leaders in the locker room during their time in Winnipeg.

Antropov was recently interviewed on the Cam and Strick Podcast and elaborated on an incident with a former teammate.

Antropov talked about how Evander Kane was an arrogant, young punk and Dustin Bufyglien used alternative methods such as throwing Kane's clothes in the hot tub to teach him a lesson.

Antropov went onto way that Kane had changed his was recently, and had grown up a lot over the past couple of years. Kane has managed to keep his head down since joining the Edmonton Oilers and has become a very important part of the community in his new city. It's great to see the growth in Kane, but maybe if someone in Winnipeg had of taken the time to mentor him it would have saved a lot of trouble.

The Jets locker room continued to be extremely toxic as even Patrik Laine shared his displeasure in how things ran, so much so he demanded a trade away from the only team he'd ever known.
