Habs prospect comes to the defense of Juraj Slafkovsky at rookie tournament, drops the gloves with Sabres player
Juraj Slafkovsky was the surprising 1st overall pick in last summer's NHL Draft. It's clear the the rest of the Montreal Canadiens prospects are fully aware of their role at this tournament. During tonight's rookie game against the Buffalo Sabres, a member of the Sabres hit and lands a solid hit on Slafkovsky.
Immediately Lucas Condotta did exactly what was expected of the rest of the team. He dropped the gloves and immediately came to the defense of his franchise's top prospect.
Both players exchange multiple shots back and fourth before being separated by the linesman. But it's clear, hockey is back!
