Igor Shesterkin gets away with another embarrassing dive
Corey Perry definitely has a reputation. He's known for playing on the edge and frequently crossing it. Today during the 2nd period it appears Perry's reputation got him into a little trouble.
Unfortunately though it appears Shesterkin is developing a reputation of his own for embellishing. There is no question that Perry's stick makes contact with Shesterkin's head, but Shesterkin then drops like he's been shot.
Perry was given 2-minutes for slashing on the play and the Rangers went on to score on the powerplay. Shesterkin needs to be careful because too many plays like this and a concussion spotter may pull him from the game.
