Insider reveals Nazem Kadri is meeting with specialist and may require surgery
Evander Kane has been suspended one game for boarding for his hit in Nazem Kadri. That means Kane will be absent for a pivotal Game 4 as the Oilers attempt to fend off elimination. Kadri on the other hand has already been ruled out for the series.
The Avalanche have said that Kadri won't be available for at least the remainder of the series, but according to Darren Dreger that might be a significant undersell by the Avs.
Not much to update on Kadri's status. He will see doctors tomorrow to further evaluate his prognosis. Surgery is a possibility.
If this is true and Kadri does require surgery it will certainly mark the end of his season and likely his career with the Avalanche.
