Jacob Markstorm unveils his new mask and it might be the best in the entire league
If you haven't had the chance to see Calgary Flame's goalie Jacob Markstrom's new goalie mask, check it out. It is awesome! One of the unique chances a goalie gets to show himself off is when he gets to personalize their masks. Markstom's new lava skull mask is unique and extremely detailed.
The talent these artists have is truly remarkable. The red and orange color of the lava will go perfect with the Flame's colors. In addition to the skull, the Calgary logo is on either side of the mask and the Markstom's number 25 is on the chin. There is also a dragon logo on the top. The same dragon logo Calgary used as a third jersey many seasons ago.
The back of his helmet has the three crowns of Sweden. Instead of blue, they're lava colored. Check out the video from the artist below. It is well worth looking at. The detail and design of this mask is truly unique.
