During the Arizona Coyotes' exit interviews, reporter Craig Morgan had an opportunity to ask Jakob Chychrun how he'd feel if he wasn't moved in the post-season:

I don't know. I'm signed for 3 more years. The trajectory of where the team is going & a lot of that stuff is important to me. I want to be in a position where I'm getting to play a week from now, not packing up.

Chychrun sounds unsure of his future with the Coyotes, which is reasonable given the current arena debacle and the latest scandal affecting the club's reputation, with prospect Mitchell Miller.

During the March trade deadline, there was thought to be 8 teams ready to make an offer for Chychrun, whose top 4 pairing skills were in demand, but it appeared that the ask for him was high. Anaheim and Columbus were two teams reported by Elliott Friedman, reportedly interested in the Left-handed Defenseman who could make an immediate impact on their blue line.

ANAHEIM DUCKS or COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS
The Ducks and Blue Jackets are the two non-playoff teams reportedly most interested in making an offer for Chychrun. Friedman confirmed late Wednesday when writing about interest in Chychrun that both Anaheim and Columbus "have been around this."

It sounds like more trouble in the desert for Arizona, as consistent management of assets is a trademark, along with their Arena troubles.
