Max Domi snaps and jumps Vancouver Canucks player and gets a misconduct for his troubles
Max Domi has been an incredible bright spot this season for the Chicago Blackhawks. Domi has fit into the Hawks roster seamlessly and is rumored to be interested in signing a long-term deal with the team to remain in Chicago.
One thing that has allowed Domi, to fit in so seamlessly is his understanding of his role. He knows that when star players are targeted, it's his job to ensure some form of retribution is paid. That is exactly what he did last night to Dakota Joshua of the Vancouver Canucks.
After Joshua took a run at Patrick Kane, Domi immediately dropped his gloves and went after him to exact some revenge. Joshua didn't drop his gloves and ate some unanswered shots from the smaller Domi, but the message was clear.
Unlike some other lottery teams, the Blackhawks continue to show pride in their play despite the lack of results. Both players received fighting majors, while Domi receive 2 minutes for instigating and an additional 10 minute misconduct penalty. The Hawks lost the game 5-2, but left the building with their pride.
