Montreal Canadiens prospect removed on stretcher after convulsing on ice
A scary scene unfolded Wednesday night during an OHL game between the Ottawa 67's and Kingston Frontenacs. The hit happened during the 1st period and left Montreal Canadiens' prospect Vinzenz Rohrer unconscious on the ice. Reports from those in attendance stated Rohrer convulsed on the ice after the fall.
Today the 67's provided an update on Rohrer's condition.
Vinzenz Rohrer underwent a series of evaluations at the hospital and was released late Wednesday night. He is in good spirits and is now resting at home. He will be out indefinitely.
This is a positive update after a hit that resulted in a very scary injury. Our thoughts continue to be with Rohrer as he battles back from this injury.
