The NHL has been criticized recently for various business decisions. The league has recently lost multiple big money deals and partnerships with mega corporations such as the Gatorade and Adidas. Not to mention Gary Bettman's stubborn obsessions to keep the Arizona Coyotes in the league, even if they play in a new tiny home.
But the biggest concern would be about the NHL players and their health. Concussion in the league have been happening at an alarming rate. The NHL has taken small steps after former NHLers have been forced to retire from head injuries.
Every league seems to be looking at ways to solve this problem, but the NHL. Allan Walsh, NHL Agent, would reveal this on Twitter:
The NFL, the Canadian Government and the U.S. Military have all acknowledged a link between head impacts and CTE. But not the NHL.
Showing the NHL is once again behind the eight ball, hopefully they will pay more attention to this subject and come up with a better solution.
