NHL releases list of players placed on waivers, includes former exceptional top prospect

With the National Hockey League pre-season well underway, that means cuts are coming fast and furious today amount of players hit the waiver wire.
All players placed on waivers yesterday cleared waivers.
The most notable player on this list is likely Sean Day. Day was once granted exceptional player status in the OHL, but never lived up to this expectations.
Teams around the NHL will have until noon tomorrow to put claim on any of these players and it will be announced tomorrow at 2 pm if any have been claimed.
