Nathan MacKinnon's name and career has been linked to Sidney Crosby since the moment he started making waves in junior hockey. Both are from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, both are former first overall picks, and both love Tim Hortons. The two have also become really close friends over the years.
Nathan MacKinnon has been to Sidney Crosby's Stanley Cup celebration days the last two times Crosby won the Cup. During Sunday's post-game interview MacKinnon mentioned that he had a few too many alcoholic beverages at Crosby's parties and hopes his friend will return the favour.
I've been the drunkest guy at two of his so he better be drunk at mine.
I have a feeling that at Nathan MacKinnon's Stanley Cup party, cell phones will be checked at the door.
