Nazem Kadri is forced to undergo surgery after Evander Kane hit
The Colorado Avalanche just suffered a major blow down the middle of their roster for what's likely the remainder of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Avs forward, Nazem Kadri is likely out for the remainder of the Avs playoff run after getting pushed from behind into the boards by Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane during game 3. Kane was assessed a 5 minute major for boarding on the play but didn't get kicked out of the game, Kadri didn't return.
Now it appears Kadri has undergone surgery as per TSN's Darren Dreger. Kadri is most likely done for the season, but hasn't been ruled out as of yet.
Kane was later suspended one game for the hit and will sit out game 4 tonight with the Oilers season on the line.
