One of the NHL's toughest players need to be helped off the ice after brutal shot block
There are certain players in the NHL that develop reputations every time they're on the ice. The reputation that Marcus Foligno has built for himself is one of toughness and respect. The Minnesota Wild Captain is known for giving everything he's got and then some.
Tonight during the game versus the Florida Panthers, Foligno gets into the shooting lane like he has so many times before. Unfortunately for Foligno the shot catches him flush to the inside of the knee. The shot dropped Foligno directly to the ice where he remained.
Foligno had to be helped off the ice by medical staff and went directly to the Wild locker room for attention.
