Patrice Bergeron provides update on his injured arm
The Boston Bruins got an earlier start to their off-season after being eliminated in the first round by the Carolina Hurricanes in the middle of last month. It appears as though some were nursing pretty serious injuries along the way
Newly minted 5-time Selke trophy winner and franchise cornerstone Patrice Bergeron will be out at least 10 weeks after undergoing successful left elbow surgery.
Bergeron, 36, had one of the best two way seasons of his entire career this past season, tallying 25 goals and 40 assists for 65 points in 73 games played. Bergeron seemingly in the Twilight of his career doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. He should be ready to go for training camp if he chooses.
